Le Pouget is an animal guesthouse for dogs. You dog is allways welcome to stay for a while. We can be a guesthouse for max. 20 dogs, so we can give them all a lot personal attention. A few time per day we go out for a nice walk and if the weather is good enough, they can play outside in fenced fields. The trees give them shadow. We are busy with a space for cats too.
The insulated interior kennels and outside runs are spacious and are provided
with state of the art equipment to give your dog a safe and comfortable environment.
All areas and equipment will be cleaned every day.
Floorheating is installed. There is even soft relaxing music in the background inside and also in the outside runs.
The spacious outside runs offer the possibility to run and play as much as they like, individually or in small groups.
All dogs have a daily walk on the leash.
Our hotel offers quality food adapted to the dog’s daily requirements.
If on a diet prescribed by a vet, the owner must provide the required food.
We must be informed when a dog is under medical supervision.
Medicines and prescriptions must be provided by the owner.
REQUIRED VACCINATIONS
(given at least 2 weeks before and within the 1 year period of validity ):
Parvovirosis
Leptospirosis
Hepatitis
Distemper (maladie de carré)
Rabies
Kennel cough (parainfluenza)
Bordetella bronchiseptica (www.peteducation.com)
The dogs must be free of parasites. They must arrive treated against ticks and fleas (e.g. Frontline or Advantix, taking the period of effectiveness into consideration).
Every dog must carry an identification by chip or tattoo.
We cannot accept dogs (bitches) without
1: Proof of ownership
2: Valid vaccination certificat
They must not be aggressive or on heat
They must not suffer from a transmittable, bacterial, viral or parasitical disease and must not be less than 4 months old
Price per day full board, day nursery and reception:
- Dog < 10 kg: €14
- Dog > 10 kg: €15
- Puppy-dog: €15
From the same owner(in the same box):
- 2 dogs < 10 kg: €12,50 per dog
- 3 or more dogs < 10 kg:: €11 per dog
- 2 dogs > 10 kg: €13,50 per dog
- 3 or more dogs > 10 kg: €12 per dog
Tariffs are calculated from the first day regardless of time of arrival, possible from 10h30.
The last day will not be charged if the dog is collected before 09h30.
After 09h30 full price will be charged.
Extras:
- Heating (winter) €1,20 per dog per day
- Administration of medicines €1,20 - per dog per day
- The charges for extra care like incontinence, diabetes etc. can be negotiated.
Should the dog(s) be collected on departure by someone other than the owner, notice must be given on the day of arrival together with details of identity of the person who will collect.
If a dog has life threatening health problems e.g. risk of cardiac arrest, we must be informed in advance. We cannot accept responsibility for the consequences of chronic illness.
All costs of a veterinary intervention (if nessary) will be completely at charge of the owner without any responsability for the hotel.
In case of a sudden death of an animal, the hotel will order a dissection by an independent expert, completely at charge of the owner.
The hotel cannot held responsable for accidents outside the kennel, caused by a dog who escapes. The owner of a dog deserter has to inform the hotel about this quality at the arrival.

Sundays and holidays:
Arrival and departure only at 9h or 18h (will be discussed).
Notice that opening hours are not the same times as arrivals and departures. These moments are always in consultation.
A booking becomes final after payment of a deposit of 50% of the total amount. This amount is not refundable in the event of cancellation by the owner.
If a dog is collected at an earlier date, the full amount for the agreed period will be charged.
When booking, arrival and departure times will be discussed.
Please respect these times because of the daily care requirements of all our guests.
